Fipronil is a kind of phenylpyrazole insecticide with a wide insecticidal spectrum. It is mainly gastrotoxic to insect pests, and has both contact and inhalation effects. Its mechanism of action is to inhibit the chloride metabolism of insects which is under the control of γ-aminobutyric acid.
Scope of application: It is suitable for rapid qualitative detection of fipronil in vegetables (cabbage, spinach, cowpea, oilseed vegetables, etc.)
The detection limit was 0.02 mg/kg
